1. Who we are
CloserHire ("we", "us") is a recruitment business that connects multilingual candidates with employers in the iGaming industry and international operations. This policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect your personal data when you use our website, apply through our campaigns, or communicate with us — including over WhatsApp, Telegram and other messaging channels.

2. What data we collect
- Identity and contact data — name, date of birth, nationality, phone number, email address, country and city of residence.
- Application data — CV/resume, work history, education, language skills and certifications, salary expectations, availability, and willingness to relocate.
- Media — photos and video introductions you submit as part of an application (common for on-camera roles).
- Communications — the content of messages you exchange with our recruiters, including on WhatsApp and other messaging platforms.
- Technical data — IP address, device and browser information, and analytics data when you visit our website (see Cookies, below).
3. Why we process it (legal bases)
- To provide recruitment services — assessing your suitability, presenting you to prospective employers, and supporting interviews, offers and relocation (legitimate interest / steps taken at your request prior to entering an employment contract).
- With your consent — for example, retaining your profile in our talent pool for future opportunities, or sending you information about new roles.
- Legal obligations — record-keeping, accounting and compliance requirements.
4. Who we share it with
- Prospective employers and their recruitment partners — we share your application data and media with companies whose roles you apply for, or consent to be considered for. They may be located outside your country of residence.
- Service providers — hosting, communications, analytics and administrative tools that process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements. These include our website hosting provider, messaging platforms such as WhatsApp, form and email services, and the administrative tools we use to manage candidate records.
- Authorities — where required by law.
We never sell your personal data.
5. International transfers
Because we recruit for roles across Europe, Latin America, the Gulf and Asia, your data may be transferred to countries outside the EEA/UK. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. Details are available on request via hello@closerhire.com.
6. How long we keep it
We keep application data for the duration of the recruitment process and, with your consent, for up to 24 months afterwards so we can contact you about future roles. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see Your rights). Communications and records needed for legal or accounting purposes are kept as long as the law requires.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact hello@closerhire.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
8. Messaging platforms
Much of our recruitment process runs over WhatsApp and similar platforms. These services are operated by third parties under their own privacy policies, and messages are processed by those providers as well as by us. By contacting us on a messaging platform, you acknowledge that your messages will be handled through that platform.
9. Cookies and analytics
Our website uses essential cookies needed for the site to function, and may use basic analytics to understand how visitors use our pages. Where required, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies. You can adjust your browser settings to refuse cookies.
10. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including access controls and encrypted services. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and limit access to the people who need it.
